The players are members of the 787th Tactical Fighter Wing, Squadron D "Dingos" under Major Felix Dzacorsky. More specifically, they are assigned to the two fire teams [four man veritech units] of the Dingos commanded by 1st Lieutenant Eric Running Deer. The players began their adventure aboard the twilight tour of the SFC-7000 Charles Yeager.

1st Lieutenant Eric Running Deer [Player: Chris Farley]
A Native American egghead turned fighter jock. Chose quite a lifestyle change opting to pursue a communications engineering degree from the academy rather than living by his family's rustic ways. Extremely intelligent and resourceful with great, but budding leadership skills.
A half-Tirolian with a background shrouded in mystery. Professionally adept with surveillance systems and sensory equipment, even though none of his formal training in the RAF pertains to those areas. Not a natural pilot, but his time in the RAF in veritechs makes up for it. Tends to keep to himself. Has also done a lot of electronic outfitting on his Forager cyclone.
Appearance: A smallish, slender half-Tirolian with green hair and brown eyes. 5'-7", 140 lbs.
A Garudan schooled in biochemistry and biology surpassing even the naturally adept members of his own race. Studies small arms as a hobby. Not the most agile pilot in a veritech, but a crack shot in a scrape. Commonly called upon by the fleet's high command as a biochemistry information resource. Has participated in a few covert operations requiring quick, accurate mecha fire.
Corporal Jonathan "Phrog" Wagner [Player: John Hokanson]
A young, eager pilot excited about his first tour in a heavy combat unit and fulfilling his childhood dream of flying fighters. This tour is of particular sentimentality since his parents were killed testing first generation nano-fold drive technology. Tested very well in flight school simulators, but still has a lot to learn about actual combat.
Appearance: 6`-1", 200 lbs. Caucasian. Short, brown hair and blue eyes. Very light skin.
